Have you ever had days when you just can’t deal with people?
Sometimes it’s not about you. Maybe simply, everyone is carrying their own stuff and just having a bad day. We’re human. We won’t always be patient, understanding, or kind in every moment. And sometimes, dogs really do seem easier to love than people.
My mom said this phrase on a Sunday after a loooong, exhausting week, and it made me smile because I think many of us can relate to it. But it also made me reflect on something important: we never really know what someone else is going through.

Maybe the person who seemed distant, rude, or impatient today is simply tired, overwhelmed, or having it difficult. Sometimes, a little empathy can be useful for both sides.
So if you find yourself liking dogs more than people some days, that’s okay. Ok, dogs are so cute. Just remember that people, like dogs, deserve some patience, understanding, and compassion too.
We live in a world where we can grow even with the difficulties that we live everyday.
